How to remedy the nozzle missing situation of the printing machine?
How to remedy the nozzle missing situation of the printing machine?
Do you know why the printing machine has a situation of nozzle missing and what happens? The nozzle missing of the printing machine not only affects the work efficiency, but also wastes consumables. How should the situation of the printing machine be remedied?

1. Air enters in the ink path. If there is air in the ink path, the ink flow will be interrupted and the nozzle missing will occur. The user needs to completely remove the air in the ink path.
2. There is too little ink in the ink damper and there are many impurities. If there is no ink or less than one-third in the ink damper of the printing machine, it means that the ink in the ink cartridge is not guided into the ink damper, and the user needs to guide the ink in the ink cartridge to flow to the ink damper normally. If it is used for a long time and the amount of ink in the ink damper is normal, you need to check whether there are too many impurities attached to the filter in the ink damper, so you need to clean or replace the ink damper.
3. The printhead of printing machine has problems. Problems with the printer's printhead voltage, circuit, and nozzle can cause the printer nozzle missing. Correct the problem of the nozzle voltage. If the printer machine circuit burns out, suspend work in time and wait for professional technicians to repair it. If the printhead is clogged, you can first try to use the printhead cleaning function that comes with the printer machine or use a special printhead cleaning solution. After cleaning, print the printhead test bar to check the printhead status.
4. The indoor temperature of the printer machine is too low. The state of the working environment has a great impact to the printer machine. If the nozzle missing just because the indoor temperature is too low, the user needs to turn on the air conditioner or electric fan to warm up the working environment before the print job starts.Keep the temperature at 15-30℃. The ink can be preheated in hot water at 60℃.
How should the printer dryer be used in winter?
How should the printer dryer be used in winter?

As we all know, the Fedar inkjet printer machine has a inside heating system. However, when the weather is humid and rainy, the temperature is too low, the color is deep, and the order is urgent, the picture can not to be dried, and the problem of screen adhesion is easy to occur. The external dryer is very important. It can quickly dry the picture, shorten the time, and improve the working efficiency of the inkjet printer machine.

Generally, the external dryer provides two drying methods. Take Fedar inkjet printer machine as an example, the two drying methods are thermal drying and wind drying. The hot drying means drying by heating, and the temperature can be adjusted by itself; the wind drying also has a variety of air volumes to be adjusted by itself; the two drying methods can be freely switched.

When the user selects the drying method, it is determined according to the printing material. Generally, it is hot drying, but some materials will be deformed when heated. At this time, wind drying is required.

The weather is cold in winter, and the indoor and outdoor temperatures are very low. It is best to install air conditioners indoors, and adjust the temperature to between 15 and 30 degrees, which is conducive to drying the picture. The second is that the inkjet printer machine must be equipped with an external dryer, so that the work efficiency of the photo machine is not affected by other uncontrollable factors.

Why printer produces waste ink in the use process?
Why printer produces waste ink in the use process?

Photo printers generate a large amount of waste ink during the printing process, which is mainly concentrated on inkjet printers with split design. The main reason is the split structure.Since only the ink cartridge needs to be replaced, the joint between the printhead and the ink cartridge can easily enter the air, so that the ink cannot flow smoothly, resulting in disconnection during printing, which will make the text lack strokes, pictures have horizontal stripes and severe white lines. At the same time, the need for high-speed printing, inks are fast-drying.Various reasons, such as long printer shutdown and dry weather, can cause the remaining ink on the printhead to condense and cause disconnection.

In order to solve problems such as unclear printing, all inkjet printers are equipped with a hardware system for ink cleaning and printhead maintenance on the far right side of the machine. A rubber doctor blade is installed inside the printer which  scrapes off the dirt on the printhead surface. At the same time, the printer automatically returns to the "nozzle protection parts" after the printer stops printing.Use the sealing function to implement short-term sealing to prevent the ink from blocking the nozzle.

For split-type models that are prone to disconnection, the manufacturer has adopted a more comprehensive printhead cleaning system, that is, a pump accessory for cleaning the printhead under the "nozzle protection parts".It uses a method of periodically extracting ink from the ink cartridges, allowing each color of ink to pass through the printhead orifice, and finally ejected from the printhead to achieve the purpose of unblocking the pipeline. These multi-color inks ejected from the printhead are finally mixed together, that become waste ink.The manufacturer has set up a separate plate in the lower part of the printer, called a waste ink tank (also called a waste ink tray). The waste ink goes directly into the waste ink tank under the printer through a pipe.

The printhead of the integrated inkjet printer is replaced by the replacement of the ink cartridge, so there is no pump accessory, and there is no ink extraction cleaning. It generates very little waste ink. The waste ink tank is under the "nozzle protection parts". The remaining ink scraped off by the scraper will be condensed in the waste ink tank over time. The split printer has a large amount of waste ink, and the volume of the waste ink tank is large. At the same time, a cotton felt is also placed in the waste ink tank to absorb waste ink.

How to Avoid Static Electricity in Fedar Printers’ working environment?
How to Avoid Static Electricity in Fedar Printers’ working environment?

Static electricity is a kind of charge that is at rest or a charge that does not flow. When the electric charge gathers together on some subjects’ surface, it will turn to be the static electricity. Fedar dye-sublimation printer is a kind of printing equipment that relies on the computer image output, in other speaking, digital sublimation printer belongs to the family of precision instruments and it will be easily influenced by static, just like Fedar Textile Sublimation Printers use Epson 3200 head (also called 4720 head), famous brand Leadshine servo and step motor and our specially designed mainboards, these core parts are easily influenced by strong static. In order to avoid the harm caused by static, we need to know how to get rid of the static in a scientifical way.
Now there are 3 efficient ways to prevent and eliminate static.
1, Use earth wire. Using earth wire is the simplest way to prevent static, and usually, there will be a piece of earth wire when a printer is packaged and sold to a customer. In the actual operation, the earth wire should be installed in strict instruction and follow the sign of the digital printing machine, the static electricity should be effectively led to the ground to avoid static flowing between the core parts of the printer.
2, Use anti-static paint or scavenger. For example, if Fedar's 4 head high-speed sublimation printer FD6194E works for a long time in a dry and hot room, the probability of occurring static electricity is super high, and if the Epson 3200 heads are damaged, it will bring a lot of lost. So it will be a necessary thing to paint the workroom with anti-static paint or scavenger.
3, Control the temperature. A useful way to avoid static is to adjust the temperature and humidity at a proper level, like temperature between 20℃-35℃ and humidity between 35%-65%, in such an environment, the static is weak. Secondly, we need to use the original ink from the same printer’s factory to minimize the static’s impact. Fedar’s dye sublimation inks are tested for a long time in our factory and it works better with our 2 head Fedar Inkjet sublimation printer FD1900 and TC1932, 3 head printer FD5193E and 4 head printer FD6194E.
4,Use anti-static parts. Fedar’s inkjet sublimation printer is equipped with the United States imported fluoro rubber pressure roller to prevent static, and it helps the media feeding smoothly to keep the printing accuracy.

How should the printing machine consumables be stored in the cold winter?
How should the printing machine consumables be stored in the cold winter?

There are two common printing consumables, one is ink, and the other is print media. The two consumables are liquid and solid, so the storage methods are different. Now let’s take a look at how to save two different printing consumables!

Ink preservation: The viscosity of the ink will increase, the ink fluency will become worse, and problems such as print cutout and lack of color will occur. Store ink in winter, pay attention to temperature, especially in the north. The best temperature for storage of ink is 18 ℃ -30 ℃, so it is recommended that you store the ink in a warm room. If possible, you can install an air conditioner in the room or seal the environment to maintain the indoor temperature.
In addition, there is heating in the north in winter, and the room will be dry, so when the ink is placed in the warm room, you must pay attention to keeping the indoor relative humidity at 40% -70%. It is recommended to install a humidifier and a hygrometer at the same time, so that the humidity in the room can be accurately controlled.

Storage of print media: The best storage temperature for print media is room temperature, and the air should not be too dry or too wet. In the winter, the storage environment of the media should be moisture-proof. It is best to store the print media on a shelf or a moisture-proof cloth, and at the same time, ensure that the storage environment has a stable temperature and humidity. In addition, do not place heavy objects on top of the print media. Handle it gently when handling and moving. Finally, remind that every time after printing is completed, the print media should be returned to the original place in time.
